Course Description

Illustrator is an introductory, instructor-led Adobe Creative Suite (CS) course designed for creative individuals eager to turn ideas into polished, shareable designs and want to learn vector-based graphic design. You will learn to create complex and eye-catching illustrations, logos, and artwork for print or the web. This course is ideal for learners pursuing roles in graphic design, visual communication, and digital content creation. This hands-on course builds foundational Adobe Illustrator skills used in today’s workplace. This practical course covers:

• Getting started with Illustrator

• Working with basic shapes

• Creating custom paths

• Adding and styling text

• Customizing objects and enhancing shapes

• Preparing your work for print or digital use

Through live instruction and practical exercises, you will acquire introductory Adobe Illustrator skills that expand your creative capabilities.

Recommended Prerequisites

• Windows Basics & File Management, Microsoft Word - Level 1, and confidence using computer applications.
